School of weblog design: a crash course

I've been off the shelf for the last couple days, working at the hospital and studying for my shelf copy tomorrow. Since I haven't been around I thought I'd link all of you to some great eye candy from around the weblog world. I'm constantly surprised by the talent for design some people possess, check out all of the creative endeavors over at mono. Well designed weblogs volume 1 and volume 2 have some amazing looking blogs for you to look at and perhaps gain inspiration from. Making a distinctive mark on the web is difficult, but a lot of these sites succeed in doing just that.
